Always loved that cartoon!

"Sawboss" here (France) was called "Discord" and the monsters the "Monstro-Plants"

It's ironic that the one thing that can stop the Monster Minds is a simple route?

That was one of D.I.C's best cartoon.

J. Michael Straczynski [creator of Babylon 5] wrote a lot of the show, so you can't go wrong.

One of our gaming buddies, Big J, used to speak about this series, but living down on St. Simons Island, we didn't get a lot of the cartoon shows many of you got to enjoy.  Going to Atlanta a few times and spending some summers at my Aunt Sara's place with Uncle Dave, I got to see some of the shows, but not this one.

The design looks really cool.

I had a few shows like that, I remember that Godzilla and Captain Caveman never ran on channels I had when I was a kid.

Mm ... it did for me.  That's how I remember it.  I guess it just depended on the region.

I was thinking the other day that if I ever do a hero series, it'll have to be heroes as villains, because it's the evil that makes me want to draw it. The darkness is my muse.

Yeah. Many of the 80s villains are downright scary.

After drawing a couple of characters with fewer lines, I wanted to do a more detailed guy. I find the more detailed guys are easier to put some dark and evil into. I thought about drawing a real monsterized Savoir Faire for example, but I don't want to vary from the path I started, I try to draw the villain from the show. I think most of them so far are very recognizable so far if you know the show. :]
