Description Not exactly sketches, but I still wanted to share them! I haven't drawn Dollie a whole lot, even though she was the first OC I ever made in the LN universe! I really should draw her more, now that I think of it...

I also have a (rather long) "story" of where Dollie came from, how she got into the Nowhere, etc. You can skip over that and just admire the art if you'd like!
------------

Dollie, once a cheerful girl despite her upbringing in an orphanage, now exhibits a reserved and paranoid demeanor. Even her mere presence in the room started to unsettle the other children at the orphanage as they noticed a shift in her behavior. "Eight", as she was known originally, frequently displayed clumsiness and was prone to being easily startled, resulting in accidental breakages and occasionally causing harm to others. The situation escalated dramatically when she came perilously close to inadvertently causing the death of another child during a fall down the stairway they both shared.
Following this tragic incident, she was left abandoned inside a cardboard box in a desolate alleyway. At the tender age of eight, she found herself thrust into the harsh reality of abandonment. Her dreams consistently revolved around finding happiness within the confines of the orphanage, yearning for acceptance among the other children, only to awaken each day to the stark reality of solitude within her makeshift shelter.

In the dead of night, Dollie was jolted awake by the cacophony of chaos engulfing her surroundings. The once-familiar sanctuary of the orphanage now burned fiercely, its flames casting an eerie glow as terrified children fled for their lives. Amidst the pandemonium, grotesque figures clad in hazmat suits emerged, their imposing presence striking fear into the hearts of the children. Dollie found herself paralyzed by fear, too overwhelmed to offer assistance, her fragile frame rendering her powerless to intervene. Overwhelmed by a torrent of pity and guilt, she wept uncontrollably as she watched helplessly, knowing that many of the children she had come to know were being mercilessly taken away, yet unable to offer any aid.
Approached by a man who dangled the enticing promise of acceptance, Dollie, driven by her longing for belonging, naively agreed to follow him into what is known as "the Nowhere". However, upon regaining consciousness, she discovered herself imprisoned alongside the familiar faces of the orphanage, albeit in a bleak environment devoid of any semblance of joy. It didn't take long for Dollie to rue her decision as the children were subjected to relentless toil in oppressive conditions, with meager sustenance and minimal respite. Those unable to keep pace with the group were met with little compassion. This grim reality persisted for a grueling span of at least three years, casting a shadow of regret over Dollie's once hopeful heart.

During this bleak period, Dollie found solace in the companionship of another girl named Two. United by their shared circumstances and comparable personalities, they forged a friendship despite their stark differencesβ€”Two, more outgoing, and Dollie, more reserved. Two took it upon herself to shield Dollie from trouble whenever she lagged behind, but their efforts didn't always yield success.
A fire, sparked by Dollie's unfortunate mishaps, erupted and swiftly engulfed the surroundings, ensnaring numerous children in its deadly grip. Frantically, Dollie and Two endeavored to free their trapped companions, but their efforts proved futile. In a desperate bid to save herself, Dollie managed to break free, but tragically, it came at the cost of Two's life. As the flames consumed everything in their path, Dollie was separated from the other survivors, never to be reunited with them again. Clutching the ash-covered blue cardigan, a poignant reminder of her lost friend, Dollie was left to navigate the harsh realities of survival alone, haunted by the trauma and guilt of her circumstances for the remainder of her days.

Embracing the nickname bestowed upon her by her sole companion during their shared ordeal, "Dollie" seeks refuge in this new identity, using it as a means to sever ties with her past. No longer does she wish to bear the burden of the ironic moniker "Eight," which served as a constant reminder of her unfortunate experiences of misluck. Despite being plagued by misfortune, Dollie is determined to forge a new path for herself, one untethered to the trials of her former existence.
