It's a 30D. I suppose it could be even better, the lens was pretty falty. What cam do you use?

400D + sigma 70-300 / tamron 17-50 but I prefer the zoom of sigma to my pics, pity it's quite dark and doesn't have stabilization

That's quite a lens to handle... 70-300. I've only worked witha Sigma 50-150. That's what I use for most of my squirrel pics...

Wow, great capture! Not to mention, great photography... the details of his individual spines look like I can really touch him. Not sure I'd ever touch a rat (though plenty have ravaged my garage), but if I could, I might.
