“Listen-“ he started, leaning forward as he pushed a paper to her, “We’ve got a mortician, up north, looking for an assistant, he doesn’t need anyone special, and only a few weeks there should make you much more hirable.”
The brunette perked up, taking the paper. “I’ll give him a call.”
“Perfect, come talk to me in a few weeks.”
