Let's all pretend it's 2011 when socks were new and exciting !Nurse Redheart (and her socks) brought to you by:
- 's plush pony patterns.
- My pathetic attempts at remembering 3D trigonometry, to try to calculate the shape of the mane bun.
- Champis , nectar of the gods.
- Two guitars (but no beat-up saxophone ).

Thank you! They are removable - I made them by simply enlarging the pattern pieces for her legs slightly, folding down the raw edge at the top and top-stitching to keep the fold in place. The hard part was pulling them up against the fuzz of the minky, since the fuzz points downward on the legs.
I haven't made any more socks, having instead moved on to sewing bigger and better things. But now that I will be busy studying for the next six months or so , maybe a set of striped socks will be the perfect little sewing break.
