Ahoy~Here's a fanart of Bismarck and Friedrich der Große from Azur Lane ^w^
Figured it would be a nice time to draw the two with Bismarck being finally released.
Especially considering 24th May was the day of the first battle of the fight that turned Bismarck into a legend.

This is so weird. This are both female characters, and both with male names (or in case of Bismarck at least associated with a male)
I say this just because I think it's another nice coincidence: It's not too long since Sabaton released one of their new songs with the title 'Bismarck'

Yeah, feels a bit odd to have male names on female characters, but ships are usually reffered to as "she", and since they are all basically ship gijinkas, they keep their ship name while being shown as female.
(From a documentary I think only Bismarck was reffered to as "he", though I guess it would have been odd to have a single dude in an otherwise all female characters game, so Bismarck is female here as well)
And yeah, my husband was listening to that Sabaton song non stop and asked me to draw the artwork, haha^^

Friedrich is a pretty one (just feels a bit odd to apply a male name to a female character, even though that's the name she has. for me she's just Frieda 
btw. I dunno why but the quiality of the picture is a bit mushy here on dA, so probably take a look at my other galleries to get a nicer version^^
