Description This is one of my senior works, one that I'm both proud of and dismayed by.
negative: The image was supposed to depict Ghandi holding up the weight of the world, yet almost being crushed by it's weight. Instead you have Ghandi playing beach ball, a funny, yet improper image of one of our great pacifists.
positive: With help of a classmate I was able to get Ghandi's physical form correct. It was one of the best lessons in anatomy I ever got.

Drawn in pencil, painted with acrylic, colors slightly tweaked in CS5.

You should put a little sunblock on his face, as well as some sand. Oh, and slap some trunks on him xP

Haha, your original concept I like, as well as the painting, but you are correct that it looks like he's chillin' with his bros.

Actually, I didn't see the "beach ball" idea until it was introduced during critique. I was mortified at the time.
