Description A few weeks ago I found this dot.hack-esque taiwanese manga called "1/2 Prince", and ended up reading quite a bit of it because of this character. From the translations I read he was introduced as 'Ugly Wolf' so I'll just assume that's his official name. As adorable as the character was...I noticed the author had issues drawing him from certain angles...especially the frontal view. So as a personal challenge I tried to see if I could fix that about the character (even though I don't draw muzzles often)...and realized the problem the author probably has while drawing Ugly Wolf at this angle is because he's so covered with anime fluff you can't see his jaw line! I think all the fur adds to the cute anime look...but without that defined jaw line it makes drawing him at that angle kinda odd. Oh well, still a really fun character...

Ugly wolf is a werewolf bishi... no wait a werewolf handsome man.
Reading the novel I loved when he was taken (Dragged) to the alter. Reading as Prince was carrying a 2 meter tall wolf to the alter was funny (Even as Prince said Prince would sell Wolf to the highest bidder).

I became more attentive to hair when drawing because one of my early influences was Kosuke Fujishima (Ah My Goddess) he's a very technical illustrator.

Aaaaaand he'd probably look very frizzy XD

Somehow... I knew you'd be reading this... I read it, and the moment this guy appeared I thought 'He looks like Liz designed him...' And yes, his online persona is called 'Ugly Wolf', he's the school doctor where 'Prince' goes to college, to add to the awkwardness.

But the boy is a girl... And the other guy is gay It's comedy that doesn't really grow old for me. Still, it's nearly over, not long now. Wonder which guy she'll pick in the end? I know what would be the 'right' choice in all of this, and I think I've guessed what the author is leading the reader into guessing, but... it could be none of the above.

Iris Zero makes me d'aww, but I'll point you at a new one; Dark Air, it's only just started, go take a look. Also, an anime with absolutely no point to it whatsoever (besides silly exhebitionism) find Highschool DxD.

Thank you for enriching my life with this suggestion. Albeit there are only 12 chapters, Dark Air got me hooked. Perfectly paced and fun characters (that's definitely NO spoony bard there) 8D

Yeah, that's true. I'm fortunate enough to be pretty fond of Prince too though, despite his (her?) oddities every now and then.
