My Concept art project.We had to design 3 characters and 2 environment based on a storyline that we have to develope.

This is a digital painting of my 3rd character;The Barge.It is a kind of whale with ship like structures on it's back to help it move using less energy.That's good cos it's as big as a 10 storey building: not all that energy efficient to move about.Also, it has a kind of coral growing on it's skin that can clean air when it surfaces to breathe.

Storyline:
After the polar ice caps have melted and flooded earth, the surviving humans built a new Venice-like metallic city and formed a new Communist government out of need for survival in a group. However, their leader, Stanislav the Noble, is a tyrannical leader who clones and brainwashes his citizens to create a new race of humans that are strong, smart, identical and unyieldingly faithful to him.

Meanwhile, in the flooded parts of earth, nature takes over and renews the landscape, creating a clean and beautiful environment. Here, many new species of underwater flora and fauna emerge, including a kind of whale that the humans call The Barge.It is important to them as it can use a kind of coral growing on it's back to clean the air in the heavily polluted and dying new city.However, Stanislav hunts this creature to consume it's flesh to achieve immortality. He encourages his citizens to consume this flesh to make themselves stronger as well, thus driving it nearly to extinction.

When the ice caps melted, a small community of humans escaped to another planet and lived in isolation, preserving old knowledge and culture, themselves not changing much culturally.From this community, a woman named Sygne decides to venture back to earth, which she has never seen. When she reaches earth, she sees the Barge and it's environment, struggling for survival and Stanislav, who is the reason behind all the suffering. Thus, she spies on Stanislav and assasinates him by poisoning his supply of the Barge's flesh, which he needs to survive.
