Oh man, am i ever getting lazy about my backgrounds! I suppose its better than when my images never had any... but still.. slapping a few filters on a photo i took, and adjusting the colours and levels? ick. Bad Crickee!Is it any excuse that this was just a quick pic doodled at work that i wanted to 'finish up' a bit more?

Anyhow, image doodled during breaks at work. No references for the running poses, so they are bound to be off. Heh.
Photo background from a shot i took on the way to Yellowstone some years ago. I don't recall exactly where it was anymore. Near some milestone for old Pony Express routes i think...

I really love the sense of movement here.
The paws are awesome, I especially like how Crickets legs are kicking back and her βblotchyβ markings, you do such cool fur patterns. The βblurredβ background really adds to that implied pace of this piece and the shadows were just enough to connect the characters to their surroundings

Glad the whole speed thing came through. Last dynamic running poses i tried, people said they just looked like they were standing still, but posed like they were running :/ I eventually had to try again and see if i couldnt get better results. Happy to know you think it worked

I wonder if you can use your art program to sellectivly add motion blur to their feet? That would be pretty cool, I think, yes.

I should remember to try that sometime.. I've never attempted anything like that, so im not sure how well it'll turn out for me, but it would be good practice anyhow.
