How was the trunk made? It's hard to guess from the picture alone. Did you use paper mache or is it dry lapel affixed to some wire?
I love the colors though, it looks very lively, and I love the contrast of the dark trunk and the bright colors used for the cranes

The trunk is made from wire and then I wrapped around it paper.
The one from this post: cridiana-origami.blogspot.ro/2β¦ is made only with paper, without wire, but in time the branches started sinking.
