Description More Dir en grey fanart, this time featuring Shinya and Die. I did it in about two hours altogether. It's simple, but I like it. Tell me if I should have bordered it in a different way, or done something different with the red, or whatever.
People keep saying my digital style is popart, so I put this one in popart. The title means 'pacifist'.

I like the feeling in this, and the simplicity works for it. I also really like how you used red in the background rather than keeping it black-and-white like everything else; it's eye catching.

Thanks a lot. Anytime I do a black and white piece I feel compelled to put red on it. It only works when the subject is sinister. I'm trying to cut down and use different colours.

Thanks a lot. I use photoshop 5.0. I'd get CS so I could do vector art, but I don't have windows XP. ._.

What, exactly, defines popart, anyway? I've never really understood that. And it's not like I don't know anything about art, cos I like to think I do... Something, at least. But the definition and boundaries for popart have always eluded me.

Anyway, the picture is real nice. I like the color scheme, a lot, though it's kind of hard to see what's going on in all the black.

Um... I don't know exactly what popart is. I thought it was basically things or people depicted in a few contrasting colours. But that could be completely wrong.
And I know it's hard to see what's going on! The reference picture is completely black. I wish I knew what kind of outfit Shinya was wearing. I gonna look for the rest of the photoshoot. Bah.

Well, your guess is as good as mine. I just know what when I ask what pop art is people say Andy Warhol. Yeah, yeah, I've seen Andy Warhol stuff, I just went to the National Gallery and the Hirshhorn this summer... but I'd still like a more concrete definition. T_T

Ah, it's so cute when people mess up other languages. My german is so bad, I'll probably never use it. I never took it in school or anything, so the only words and phrases I know are from when my sister studied it. You'd probably be able to have a conversation with her.
