I felt bad because somehow, I made a croc I didn't even know about? and so I'm overlooking that as a fault and just pretending they didn't write it.
Then someone was very specific about the breeds, so I awarded them too.
And of course the person who technically is the real winner

The animals were:
ocelot, orange poison dart frog, piranha and a morpho butterfly

About this image:

The mist of the waterfall is supposed to make a hazy rainbow

I decided I liked the long, wavy mane for him instead of the more popular 'War Cut'. He's been running around in my head as more of a 'wild' character than a compliant soldier.

Well. I didn't time the whole process but I've been working on it since about New years. (a little before?)

It took me roughly 4 hours to draw the hairs in the mane and
forelock from start to finish.

EVERYTHING is Hand Drawn NO premade/stamp/funky brushes or of the like were used. None at all!

The only 'non hand drawn' effect is some of the 'grain' on the rocks.

This image was about 5,000 x 3,000 pixels for the bg.

The horse was drawn separately and took a total of 32 layers. (I like to separate out a later for shadows, and a layer for the eye, etc.)

The bg is over 50 layers and nearly made my poor old gimp program crash many times
