Description

there isn't much happening in that image, but it displays a crucial part in my chars' story - and I really wanted to capture that moment and also try to display their individual relationships through expressions and body language alone :3 took me a while but it's finally done.

as for the story (which I write for myself mostly and only share through images or short comics): it's basically an emergency meeting for a mission that requires most of the smaller and agile bots to infiltrate enemy territory. None of them has sufficient armor or firepower for the sort of enemies they have to fight, should they be detected - so very risky. The team also includes SwiftPaw, which gets Mons in a rare bout of fatherly worry, which in turn is unwelcome considering he abandoned his son long ago to fend for himself.

Jack and Cabal are sorta for themselves mostly, prefering not to get involved with the emotional luggage of others - they do look out for each other though. That mission is also one of Neo's first major moves as leader of the ground bound bots and dealing with serious issues within the team - Cherry is mostly there for support if need be due to her experience and she's quite pleased she's not truly needed.

hopefulyl I'll get around drawing that follow up image some time or maybe a short comic for the mission itself - time will tell
