Yes, there is a lot of detail in this composition. I wanted it to be that way. It did take a lot of time...but definitely worth it. One of my favorite hues as well.
And yes, PSB are one of the extremely few pop group/duo who still rock. Thankfully.

It was done entirely in Photoshop.
Essentially used a few photos & textures + masking for the groundwork. Then did some brushing...added background & foreground text ...adjusted color, hues, contrast & stuff. Some more brushing & tweaking masks. Sat on this draft for a few days..came back to it & tweaked some more.
This final piece was ready way back in 2001!!! Can you believe it. Did a lot more tweaking to the piece after joining DA & finally submitted it for your viewing pleasure.
