Original size: 11" X 14"

A drawing that started out as nothing more than a sketch of a T-Rex, but turned into a finished dragon. Hence the title of the piece: Dragon King. This was just something to pass some time, but I ended up loving it so much I continued with it. A few features (jaw spikes, brow horns, and neck scales) were inspired by Green and Blue Dragons from D&D. He'll be used in my story with Raven as a guardian/advisor to him. His spirit resides inside Raven‘s sword (you can imagine people thinking he’s insane talking with his sword) and can take a physical form as a wyrmling anytime he wants (with limited powers), but to achieve his true form (like in the picture) a willing sacrifice of 1000 years of Raven’s lifespan must be given. Lucky Raven. Seeing how a Shapeshifter like Raven can live for 5000 years, he shouldn’t have much to worry about. But Raven has already given 3000 of those years up, so he needs to be careful.

heh, that makes me feel like "that means maybe i could make a try..." but everytime i do such stuff, i draw for 2 minutes and then i crush the paper into a ball xD

Thanks a bunch. I worked really hard on it, even though it was just a spur of the moment drawing for fun. I didn't intend for it to turn out the way it did, but that's what happens when I just keep doodling on a picture. Haha. Thanks again.

Thanks a bunch! You know how I'm a sucker for detail even if it kills me. xD Pretty scary huh? I didn't do much erasing either. From what I can remember I probably used an eraser about 5 times throughout this entire thing. xD

As a side note, you need to submit more! You haven't submitted anything since Nov. of last year!!! lol

lol I try to draw really light so it doesn't leave marks or get it right the first time.

I wish I could get my scanner to work right. It likes to destroy the colors again and then when I try to fix them it makes it worse. Yes you get your tablet out. When I get home we OC or I punch you. XD

But I can't get over his jaw...the top part looks very profiled, but the bottom part looks slightly angled, like turned in more, more centered .
