Description
Captain James T. Kirk is one of my favorite Star Trek characters, and he's been played officially by three fantastic actors! Most recently, in Strange New Worlds, he was played by Paul Wesley. In the Kelvin-era Trek films, he was played by Chris Pine. And of course, in the Original Series, he was played by the one and only William Shatner. When I was a kid, I wanted to *be* Shatner's Kirk. This piece celebrates one of the best leaders and tacticians in fiction.
