It's something I read on Wikipedia a while ago...I'm not too sure which canon it's from. ^^ I think it was Ultimania Omega, if anything, since Gast is sadly absent from all the compilations. ._.
The actual name, I believe, is Gast Faramis. But I like Faramis Gast much better. ^^

First, the good stuff XD;
I like the use of different colours for all of them, made me have to sit and think for a minute. Maybe it's just me and my obsession with symbolism, but it was an interesting bout.
Secondarily, I have a LJ account. And I am going to start using it again, if only so I can keep up with some of the other things you do off dA. I tell you this because you make me feel guilty about abandoning it :/
Thirdly, I want to ask of you how you can do that house thing that I noticed starting in the OC meme. Wifey has a house, too, and I tried one time to create a small village for organisation's sake but it crashed and burned (...literally). Would you mind trying to explain it to me? oxo It's something I'm very interested in, as well as other peoples' muses. Let me know if I'm being rude ><

I'm so glad you thought about the colours. ^^ They were intentionally picked, yepyep! Though what each colour represents will differ for every viewer, so I didn't write up an explanation. I'm sure you have your own way of interpreting them.

And, re. the house - it's something I actually started thinking/writing about a while ago. ^^ I'm going to explore this area a bit more in detail soon, if you want to keep an eye on Petri Dish Wish, and in the meantime here's a snippet of something I didn't quite finish... >.>
The house is as large as a world, naturally, each room a continent or more and each corridor an ocean. The carpets are richly decorated with the sharp claws and teeth of numerous mythological beasts, which sometimes move, and fight, and disturb the fine layer of dust cloaking them. The windows join the dots between floor and ceiling, though all are set on unstrategic sides - some catch only the gloomy dimness of fading afternoons, while others blaze eternally, supersaturated with the morning sun.
No one explores. Hojo sits in one of the larger lounges, a stereotypical figure of sophistocation and affluence. The walls are paved with bookshelves that require ladders to reach the higher volumes. There is a fireplace which burns perpetually to compensate both for the lack of warmth and the lack of light. A grand piano, tucked away and unseen, makes only its presence known, playing maladious melancholy in single notes and disjointed melodies. On the small round table next to his armchair, Hojo keeps a bottle of unmarked red wine, but gets drunk with merely watching the swirl of crimson between his fingers as he swishes the contents of a glass always half-empty.

I have no words. You actually make me speechless.
Every single word and phrase that you write seems to have a double meaning, which I think is definitely part of the reason it absolutely sticks in the brain, makes me think, and pulls that perfect emotional chord. You are everything I've always striven to be. I keep thinking if I steep myself entirely in your work that maybe - maybe I'll be lucky enough to pick something up, probably unconsciously. Anything would be enough... But maybe because I'm too much of a pessimist, I can't believe it. It's one of the many, many things that keeps me reading, though, so I guess I'll go with it XD
...And I bet that wasn't even something you "worked" on. Damnit!! ><
