This stained Glass piece depicts the inevitable state of life's end-- of the bright, warm embracing light that eclipses the departing soul as they gain their wings to finally ascend to their eternal resting place.

I often think about my Nona, my Nono, my Nona's best friend's partner, Peppa.. alongside all the residents who have passed on ---- Blessed to be internally free from all their physical and emotional suffering... It reminds me of the value of life. The certainty of death. The perspective of being on this planet upon a set timeline.... and such a time line can be swiftly, painfully cut oh so short at any given moment.....

It both scares me.. and gives me the strength to seek out a better existence whilst I still do.
When my time does eventually come? I hope it shall be without regrets or doubts, without pain or suffering.... Only contentment and peace... ~
