Watercolor paint and acrylic paint on rough press cotton watercolor paper.At about 21 x 29 inches, this is the largest watercolor (or, mostly watercolor) painting I have ever made. Drawing the horse was challenging, since I don't usually work so large! It took about three hours just to fill in all of those white stars, which were painted on with acrylic paint. I never want to paint stars again. I think I should have spent more time looking at pictures of stars in space and stuff like that.
This is going onto the wall in my room.

Wow, that is beautiful! I didn't know it was watercolor and acrylic at first. I kinda shied away from watercolor when my highschool art teacher said it wasn't supposed to be so bold looking... .
I bet those stars where a pain, but it's worth it in the end!

Not supposed to be bold-looking? Screw that, go paint your bold watercolors! Don't let anyone tell you that your art can't be a certain way. Experiment!

The horse it pretty well done but what I love most ist the background! I adore how you melted all those colours together, it really loks like space...and the stars are wonderful!
