Description
Okay so here is the first piece in a series where I draw characters from The Mummy
and dogs that I associate with them.

First up is Ardeth and the Saluki, one of the oldest breeds of dog in the world. They were popular
among Pharaohs and nomadic tribes in the middle east. Later on in time they were traded along
Asia. Salukis are usually used for hunting. Their slender, agile bodies make it easier for them to chase
and capture prey.

I hope I can finish the others over the next few weeks. I'll just have to see if I can work some more
personal art into my busy schedule.
