This is quite a beautiful emotive portrait. First of all, it seems very spontaneous, as if the photographer captured the model while she was thinking of something. This contemplative mood adds much to the photo. It makes it very expressive.
The choice of black and white is also very wise.
As for the technique, I think you shouldn't have cropped the fingers of the model. Plus, the photo is quite blurred and I can't quite figure out where's the focus point.
But despite all this, the photo remains a very expressive one, that says a lot and makes a big impression.
