this is a commission i am working on forof chun li and morrigan.
at last i was able to get some work done after battling a minor art slump.stay tuned for colors.

The background is fragging exceptional, love the way you've got the morrigan 'swirlies' or whatever the hell she has around her.

its fucking fantastic Cris - really put a lot into this, really like the looks on their faces too. So many little details about this are amazing, even at ink stage I'm pretty sure as per usual you'll rip it with the colors.

Great design man, love how the black balances the lines on the rest of the image, the way the figureon the right is emerging from the shadows is awesome. This piece stands strong as a B&W. Great job man.

to get out of that slump draw something you love. in your case "spiderman".maybe in that new cool ff4 uni.thats what i do to get out of slumps.the problem is thats hard to do when you owe commissions and BA pieces..

but I usually do draw Spidey to get out of my slump but idk it hasn't worked yet

maybe you need draw more afro samurai if you're in a slump, some panel work or something dynamic.

makes sense - I haven't read any spiderman since the clone crap totally turned me off that book. Looks to me like they really did some horrible things to what made him a good book to read. But I'm with you...I saw that FF white suit and was like WTF? how long before they give him a tye dye suit too.
Why's he even in F4 anyhow....would have made more sense to replace the torch with ice man.

idk i kinda like all those new looks for spidey.dont get me wrong i dont want him to keep any of them,but its cool to see them for a couple issues.
dont do any full pieces just try doing some head shots or busts.i always have fun doing those.thats the key to getting out of these slumps drawing something fun.

i think it just reminds you of anti-venom which was the worst idea in the history of spidey stories lol.and hes getting an up coming story.

we all know the best spider man suit/clone was the crazy Man-Spider that had 8 arms lol or the 'spider armor'.
IN all seriousness, I liked the simplified 'Ben Reilly' one. think it would have been a cool kind of spider man year one costume, since it was more basic but they ruined it by making him a clone.
