Is your armor design based at all on Ausar (The Vile Armor) from Infinity Blade? Some of the details are wonderfully similar.

Well sure, that's a possibility. But I still think flat soles would be better instead of heeled, more authentic. But that's just the way I see it.

No, but same mythological ballpark. The sword - Vorneruil - is heavily inspired by the white-hot blade of Black Surt. No, I've not read the Magnus Chase books so I don't know how Riordan translated that over.
