I strongly recommend PC Stitch Pro for the computer in order to make your own pattern. Then if you like Pokemon go to [link] to get the Pokemon images...they have them all!
Thank you by the way!

I, actually, did those 2 because my husband likes those a lot. I am working on a series of placemats right now with the kingdom hearts worlds on them. As you can see in my stuff, I finished Agrabah, and I am almost done with wonderland. I have patterns for Pikachu and some other pokemon as well, so may be if I need a break from Kingdom hearts I will do another.
Thanks

so does that mean all the cross stitching you do is for personal use and presents? i would sell them, personally. but i really like the fact you have so much dedication to your work. i envy that. if i were to be the one doing the place mats i'd get bored in the middle and never end up completing them. about how any hours does it take you to complete one?

It takes about 2 weeks doing it off and on when my daughter is watching preschool tv, probably if I was working on it more consistantly it wouldn't take me so long. Wonderland has taken me forever because I got sick this past week and my daughter was sick before that, so I haven't been able to spend as much time with it. There are going to be 6 to 8 of the placemats for our kitchen table, and I have only done 2, so I do have alot of work ahead of me. I wouldn't even know how much to charge if I were to sell them anyway, I just like having them on the walls and my husband loves them too.
I just figured that if I have to have a kitchen table, then I am going to have something cool on it, none of that flowery fruit stuff they sell in the stores!

Yea, having something cool on the kitchen table is always nice than those normal generic crap.
How do you make your patterns?

I get the sprites from the internet first, then I import them into PC Stitch, a program specially designed for cross stitching. I think we paid like $50 on ebay for it, but it converts the colors into DMC number codes...and it sings dances and does the hula! Just kidding, but it is a great program.

i've tried using PC stitch before but I don't like how it converts the pictures. I feel like they are too complicated.

sometimes they are, especially if the pictures aren't pixelated first. That is why I get my sprites from the shyguy kingdom or the spriters resource online. Both of those have sprites that are already pixelated, so they are way easy to go into pc stitch.

This and Blastoise both are really spiffy! The fabric you chose compliments them really well.
