THIS is absolutely amazing!
The eye color, the make-up, the look on your face, everything is perfection to me in this picture.
Your eyes look soft and gentle, but also manic. The grey/blue/purple eyes you have in this picture really completes the look of innocent.
The black make-up you smudged on your face and hands completes the picture of "dungeon" or somewhere not as nice as a hotel.
Your facial expression pleads "help me" loud and clear. Your face looks completely innocent and soft with a hint of danger.
Your hands say alot. They say fear and anger. Like your scared of everything, but you hate the thing that put you in the situation.
I want to find out more about this picture, I want to know what happens next, I feel like I'm watching a movie when I look at this picture.

WOW! You have an amazing technique going on here, with how the expression of the eyes were planned and the position of the hands. I really love how the eyes are glaring right into my own, as if you were saying "Please, please help me." I also really like the shadows on your face. It almost looks like soil which only adds to the feeling of helplessness and desperation. I also love your hair, it sort of gives off the effect of wanting to hide behind a dark mask, if you understand what I mean. Anywho, I really think you should continue self-portraits because you are obviously talented enough to do so!

I've seen a lot of your works, and this one has a very deep effect on me. It gives off an air of desperation, both by the position of the hands and the expression. I also really like the lighting- it gives the right amount of shadow and lighting. To me, it feels like you're trying to give off an air of hopelessness and fear, though, of course, I can't be sure. I love it when people like you put so much time and effort into making pictures like this ; I can't even begin to imagine how long the makeup, lighting and photographing must take.
Sorry if this doesn't make any sense/is a bad critique, it's my first one. ^^ But overall, great job!

So many stories can be told from this photograph. Drugs. Abuse. Fear...Things that actually happen in the dark alleys of cities, abusive homes in ghettos and poor communities, in our neighbor's basement... I want this to be in a gallery so everyone could marvel about the possibilities of symbolism and background and the truth behind the meaning.

Everything about this image is amazing. The hands portrait the fear of saying the things on your mind, the dirt is the bad things you've said and done and the eyes... they portray that even with all the bad things said and done, there's a pure loving soul inside.

i think this speaks of the shit we all have to go through to get by in life. if you don't get down and dirty, fight, sleep rough. just survive then your gonna die. none of us get out alive and the further we get from the innocence of youth the more damaged and scarred and ultimately frought we will become, reflecting on the horror of survival
