Now that I'm done with Hawke's diary, something to keep me on Dragon Age 2 for a little while
I took the Meme from here: [link] although I'm not sure it's the original one. Anyway,
Some of the characters were pretty obvious, like Isabela/Salma Hayek or Merrill/Wynona Ryder. I inmediately thought of Katee Sackhoff as the charming-sarcastic Marian Hawke type and Bethany and Carver sort of fitted well. I'd have added Michelle Fairley as Leandra as well.
Flemmeth can't be anyone for me but Sigourney Weaver, it's just her type of character. And the Knight Commander, an imposing warrior that could kick anyone's ass in Kirkwall in a blink, would be a perfect role for Lucy Lawless. After her, Marton Csotkas as Orsino sorts of fits right.
The rest of the cast seemed cool for me, but not so easy to pick

I love your selections for all of the characters.... Except maybe Kristen Stewart as Bethany... Hmm maybe you could have Katy Perry in there or Anne Hathaway. Just a suggestion though! Overall super awesome!

Thanks! I see what you mean, I don't think much of KS either and I liked Bethany but, for some reason, I see a physical similarity between them both. If I were to make a movie, anyway, KS would be a goner from this cast for sure

Hehehe, I knew Stewart would be conflictive. I can't stand her either, but she physically looks like Bethany to me. Poor Bethany
I also find Fenris kind of annoying, Christensen just needs to be as inexpressive and aggravated as usual and we've got a go

Morena and Lucy are totally perfect choices! but seriously, Salma and Winnona? arent they a little old for these girls? for rule of hot busty pirate is IMO better Jordana Brewster or Eva Mendes. admit it.

Well, since they are never actually gonna do the film, I just went for physical likeness disregarding age. And I'm pretty sure they based Isabela in Salma Hayek, after all the quest where she gets introduced is Only fools rush in, a Hayek movie where she plays a woman named Isabela.

I'm suspecting that they informally took Hayek as a model for Isabela, hence the introducing sidequest "Fools Rush In" (it was a Hayek film, right?)
If this was a movie, I wouldn't cast Stewart either (she can't play, so ...), but the eyes and facial structure sort of reminded me of Bethany. I agree, though, Bethany doesn't deserve it

Yup, you're totally right! I think I've already commented this a dozen times: I don't like Stewart at all; she can't act, the only film of hers I've seen complete is the Panic Room and I find it hilarious that anyone would choose her over Charlize Theron, but, personal opinions aside, she LOOKS like Bethany. I would not pick her for a movie (I like Beth too much to do her that

Aww... what about Kate Mulgrew for Flemeth? She did the voice, after all, and I think she'd pull off the character nicely. Josh Holloway doesn't really match my vision of Anders... but then again, the Anders in my game looks totally different (read: way hotter) than vanilla Anders. If Gerard Butler was ten years younger, I would have pegged him for Sebastian, to get the matching accent - which, really, is probably the character's best feature. Jesse Spencer works, though. Haven't seen Lucy Lawless in anything since her Xena days, so I can't really judge there. Everyone else looks pretty damn perfect for their parts.
And I loathe Kristen Stewart, but if Hawke is a mage like in the Destiny trailer for the game, then Bethany will die and it would still be worth the ticket price, lol.
My vote is for the Male Hawke in your film adaptation, by the way. I'd love to see Timothy Olyphant being a sexy mage.

DAT CASSANDRA. I think you found the most perfect actress for her. They look exactly the same.

However, I'm not sure about Bethany/Kristen but I understand the choice, and please NO NO NO Hayden Christensen cannot be Fenris! I just dislike this actor so much, I would hurt me seeing him as Fenris. 
As for Meredith, I'd have seen more of Meryl Streep
And I approve the choices for F!Hawke, Orsino, Viscount Dumar and Isabela. Josh/Anders seems a little bit out of character but why not.

About Fenris, I didn't know who to choose. I wanted someone gloomy, and Christensen was the first that came to mind (well, the second, but I think that one cast member from Twilight is more than enough for this meme XD)

I really agree with all your choices but Kristen Stewart. Bethany is too much of a sweetheart to be portrayed by that gal physical resemblance aside. Then again, I am not a Twilight fan myself, but it still seems like a stretch in characterization for that actress. I wouldn't know who to suggest otherwise never having considered it myself, just not that gal please, I love Bethany too much!
The two most impressive pairings were of Sigourney Weaver and Lucy Lawless. I think these are brilliant choices and ones that I think would be awesome. Great job on the casting call sheet overall.

So you were willfully trying to instigate fans of Bethany! AH-HA! Just kidding. From the few minutes of the first Twilight movie I saw (I lasted 22 minutes before leaving) I think that being sweet and lovable just isn't in Stewart. I liked everyone else you picked though. I sincerely believe if Bethany had Carver's personality, Stewart would be PERFECT.

I disagree with the choices of Kirsten Strewart and Winona Ryder.
Salma Hayek is okay, but I like Sofia Vergara for the role. And I think Meryl Streep is a much better choice for Flemmeth than Sigourney is.

Winona Ryder is not young enough to play Merrill, of course, but she looks to me exactly like Merrill in Alien Resurrection Can't help it, it's just the big eyes and helpless look
I'm almost sure that Isabela is based on Salma Hayek, not only the looks, but the name seems to be taken from Fools Rush In. Can't be sure, but I think so. Besides she's funny and has a very comical side.
Kirsten, that one was just physical likeness, she and Bethany have got similar eyes and hair. I've only seen like 5 minutes of twilight before I switched channels (too old for that stuff I'm afraid) so I don't know if she can really act.
And Flemmeth is a really strong character, so I went for the strongest female in the movies that fits the age
