Yup, Ms Lawson is quite useful in most missions. I also brought her with me most of the time. In contrast, I found Jack pretty limited. Maybe I was expecting too much with all that subject zero propaganda, but she did not seem so powerful to me ..

Jack is basically the polar opposite to Miranda usefulnesswise IMO. Her shockwave shines up to Veteran, but becomes almost useless on Hardcore or Insanity where Jack herself is also way too vulnerable. Miranda with both Warp and Overlord plus Squad bonuses and teammates getting no "SMG drift" becomes the most useful then.
