I love this picture and all, but after reading the story several times, I think there might be a problem with the Kantisindi. You seem to write them as way too powerful, both here and in the previous Kantisindi picture, with them being able to get away with anything they do. It makes it a little bit hard to read through sometimes, and it brings into question that if the humans can't do anything against the Kantisindi, then why would they bother living in this desert region at all? If you make another Kantisindi picture in the future, might I suggest that you try to tone down their power a bit, or at least give the humans a chance of fighting back against them or turning the tables against the Kantisindi?

Hey, thanks for your comment, I appreciate the feedback! They're intended to be extremely dominant characters, but it's easy to go too far in that regard. I'll try to work on finding the proper balance point.
In regard to your question about why the humans live there at all, stables and wells have to be maintained to allow trade caravans to pass between the northern and southern kingdoms with the desert between them. They are generally more like outposts than actual settlements. The desert also contains some ruins that are of interest to human treasure-seekers.

A delightful story. I'm only sorry it took me so long to get around to reading it.
I quite love this fictional world/setting you've created with the Kantisindi and this almost Wild West environment, the concept is both sexy and interesting while the peculiar inflation twist while keeping everything straight faced makes the tales really compelling to read. I do hope we see Sheriff Shara again in future chapters.
Oh and the illustration with that Kantisindi and Shara is just gorgeous. She looks so full and lovely while Shara just has a real realistic believeable quality to her. Thanks for the story and picture. Both great. Keep up the great work!

Thanks. In answer to your question, it's (can-tuh-sin-dee). A close guideline is saying the words "Santa-cindy" only with the leading 'S' replaced with a hard 'K.'

"Long-term physical skin contact with a Kantisindi by other human-like species results in the foreigner developing some semblance of the same increased flexibility the Kantisindi possess, though this quickly fades within a few weeks if not continually renewed."
I'm going to venture a guess that this will come into play with Sharra in the future.

It'd be interesting to see a picture at max capacity. Judging by the description in the story, it'd be quite a sight.

Awesome pic and story. Sharra should get revenge on the giant woman when she comes back with her inflated friend, by letting her drink all the beer, and once it's all stored into her bosoms, sharra should SHAKE EM UP! To cause the carbonation to overswell her, trap her, hell.. maybe even pop her!

It's too bad they didn't invent, I don't know, weapons or something. I guess towns and alcohol are fine, but a knife, a sword, a spear? Clearly too complex. Of course, they'd obviously be too hard to hit, their proportions are clearly too slim and dexterous to accurately swing at.
shut up i'll over-analyse as much as i want
