The suit design is a mix of Fallout 4's skin-tight design and boots and the art from Fallout d20 (now known as Exodus), which I prefer more than Fallout 3's utility suit or Fallout 1 and 2's "skin-tight long shirt" (though not much art aside from Vault Overseers' floating head).
I had the thoughts of the female as an Half-White Half-Asian mix (a delinquent who ironically became a security officer) with the male as a Half-Latino Half-White mix (a son of family who served as members of Overseer's inner circle) since Vault population might need genomes variation to maintain a healthy genepool and later generations would include mixed-ethnicity as well.
