I'd just like to thank all the deviants who had enough time to waste to visit my site. Seriously, though, I'm glad I got an account on this site. I've only been on here since September last year, but it's great to see my art has gained some noteriety. I'd especially like to thank for helping me navigate through all the joining mumbo-jumbo, and for always being the first to comment, and all my other friends here for their viewage. Here's hoping, to quote Buzz Lightyear, for going "to infinity (pageviews) and beyond!"

Now that that's off my chest, this picture of Godzilla was started yesterday as a simple pencil sketch in Art Club. I added in the recently-wrecked city and mountains of Japan later, because I wanted to give it more "oomph" if I was going to make it celebratory. I watrercolered it today with my seldom-used watercolors from last Christmas. This Godzilla can be seen all over my gallery, probably as much as Crocazill and Skylla. I'm always trying to change it, trying to make this design the perfect balance between dino-realism and Godzilla's fantasticness. I tried to make the lips here more defines than past ones to get more "Godzilla" into the t.rex face.
The coloring is darker and more subdued, instead of the brighter colors I usually do with him, to make him more real. The idea to watercolor this came from [link]
