Gaze upon his terror children, for this is Megalon, the most diabolical cyborg sea-cockroach ever!

I've finally posted this onto DA. I penciled and inked it at CCAD College Preview over two weeks ago, and just finished coloring it...today.

As many may know, Megalon was defender of the underwater kingdom of Seatopia, who teamed up with Gigan to battle Godzilla and the robot Jet Jaguar in 1973's "Gojira tai Megaro," aka "Godzilla vs. Megalon." The film went down in history as the worst film of the series, which is unfortunate because it is the Godzilla film that is most commanly seen and known, thanks to a primetime run hosted by John Belushi in a Godzilla suit. Oy...

This is sort of a semi-redesign, because I elongated the antennas, made the mandables more lethal, and added little barbs onto the drill-hands to give Megalon's punch an extra sting.

Megalon will make an appearance in my "Kaiju Rendevous" fanfic as part of a flashback sequence. Enjoy!
