wait.. so ammy was punished, and that punishment is to go and be trapped in a mortal(Jason, in this case) and he can possess him from free will??? That sounds more like a reward to Ammy, don't you think? I'm not trying to correct you, i'm just confused. While it's also a punishment, (A punishment because Ammy no longer has the ability to possess objects or other people, just one sole person.)it also sort of gives him free realm to do whatever he wants, too.
At the same time, The humans are the ones that have to deal with him and no longer the demons; a big reason why they shipped him off to the human world. They basically went "He's your problem now."
And technically, yes. Ammy is with Jason "forever" or at least until Jason ends up dying. Then Ammy would just end up inside another poor soul. But we both know Jason's not going to be dying any time soon.

It was a random chance encounter. Jason was minding his own business, when bam, he was possessed by Ammy.
And Ammy possessing Jason wasn't his own choice. He was sealed there as punishment for his transgressions against the demon world, its civilians, and its king.

It wasn't Ammy's choice. He was punished and sealed inside Jason because Jason was unlucky enough to be picked from a wheel of names (Think of The wheel of fortune.) Out of anyone in the world lawl.
