I was once a boy named Keegan. My mother kinda started forcing me to be her daughter after confessing she almost aborted me upon finding out she was giving birth to a boy. She only wanted girls and it had been that way since she was little.

One by one, I saw my life as a boy beginning to completely vanish. My video games were replaced with makeup bags and hair accessories. When selling my xbox, she used that money to buy a huge ball gown that any girl would kill to wear.

My sports jerseys were, as expected, replaced with the girliest dresses imaginable. The trips to gaming events were replaced with salon visits and hours upon hours of shopping for dresses and all sorts of things to turn me into mommys little princess.

Everything that wasn't pink, such as my bedroom walls, my bathroom, my wardrobe.. completely pink. And yes, my mentality and interests began to change. There was no escaping it. I was becoming a girl.

My mother was at least nice enough to allow me to choose my own name and it had to be something female, not something unisex like Alexis. So I chose Chloe. I've actually taken a liking to being called Chloe.

The more dresses I found myself having to wear, the more and more i started to enjoy it. I never realized how much more freeing it was being a girl. You are allowed to express yourself however you please.

I'm always complimented on my hair and my dresses. Dont even get me starting on the reaction girls have in regards to my luscious, brunette hair which is always accompanied by a cute little bows.

I really was a girl at this point. I completely rejected my past as a boy. I wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. This of course enthralled my mother who had successfully transformed her son into a total girly girl in the space of just 6 months. As a reward, she bought me an exact replica of Cinderella's gorgeous gown from the 2015 film. I had never smiled so much in my life upon diving into it and giving it a lovely twirl.

I started distancing myself from boys as I viewed them as a threat to my newly-discovered womanhood. I surrounded myself only with the company of other girls. Girls are just in every way imaginable, better than boys.

Slowly but surely though, I grew a little tired of the princess I had become. I started buying things like leggings, tank tops, and started wearing other colors. I have discovered I look amazing in blue. And instead of wearing heels 24/7 i began wearing cute little flats, sandals, and every once in a blue moon, standard sneakers.

This greatly concerned my mother who thought that it was only a matter of time before I would want to be a boy again. And to an extent, she was right. I did start looking back on the original male life I once had.. but it was long gone and there was no turning back. It was Chloe permanently.

Even if I tried going back to being Keegan, I wouldn't last a single day. I can't live without my dresses and I refuse to go out not wearing any makeup. The thought of cutting my beautiful hair actually terrifies me. That would also mean i would lose my girlfriends who, much like yours truly, also refuse the company of men.

So yeah, that's the story of how I became the woman I now know myself to be. It started out rough for me, constantly crying whenever having to wear poofier dresses and the endless makeovers, but it was soo worth it. I mean just look at me. Do I look like I could be a man once more? Not a chance.
