Me and my sis were always best buddies. She was always there for me when I got beat up at school for being a “sissy”. I admit it, I was more into girl’s stuff than typical boy things. I’d rather watch a Disney Princess movie with my sister than watch a football game with daddy. Fast forward a couple of years and things still haven’t changed. I even started helping her out with makeup since I watched her for years and got the hang of it myself when nobody was around. It was now my birthday and my sis had something huge planned for me. She brought me to her bathroom and said that she needed to set “her” free. I didn’t know what she was talking about until I saw the makeup, shoes and dress that was hanging up. She told me that I was gonna embrace the girly side of me and go shopping with her, maybe get a few numbers from some cute boys. She wanted to have a sister and she wanted me to see if I would like it. A few hours later, what sat in front of the mirror was probably what I was supposed to be all this time. I had long, flowing hair. My face was all done up. I was wearing my first dress and I felt amazing in it. I loved the feeling of my shaven legs and I just can’t get over how much I love these shoes!!! My sis was right, I was never not her sister.
