I hated seeing our old buddy Rhinox dying. I mean I loved his story arch, but really would have liked to see him redeemed without losing his spark. Ah well. This design was never planned to be used in Beast Machines: Zone, just wishfull thinking!Transformers are property of Hasbro/Takara-Tomy.

This is an interesting design. May I use portions of it, with given credit? I'm working on an animated story that follows the events after the Universe war, with Optimus Primal and a reformatted Rhinox.

Eh it would have been nice. I still love the "greek tragedy" feel of the whole Rhinox/Tankor storyline!

True, although it sucked that Rhinox never got restored, he was one of my favorite characters in Beast Wars.

Sometimes in order to tell a good story, you need to kill a few charcters off. I always respected Beast Wars/Machines ability to handle the mature notion that in war there are casualties. Rhinox was my favorite in Beast Wars, that's why I was so shocked when they did the reveal of him as a villain. Even more so when I realized he wasn't coming back. I like to be suprised by my shows rather than slip into a rhoutine. Obviously since I did a design I did from time to time wonder, "what if he made it out? Hmmm..."
