With a zero tolerance for cowardice and a give-em-hell attitude, Loki is always in a fight and that's how he likes it. This doesn't mean he's quick-tempered, however. Due to his background, Loki is used to controlling his anger until he chooses to express it (which often ends bloodily) Typically withdrawn and quiet, he fronts the "strong silent type" with too much poise to resort to name calling or pranks. He'd much rather find you later for revenge. Slow to trust, Loki has a difficult time making friends. It's relatively easier to earn his respect, however, which is better in his opinion. Beat or tie him in a fight and it's yours.

Loki was once Hell's personal hellhound but was kicked out for being too cruel, or so he likes to tell. Ask him, and that's the story you'll get (along with a demonstration, if you're not careful). In reality, he was raised in the life of petty crime by his father, a low-ranked lacky. His mother was killed right in front them as punishment for his father's money skimming, and Loki grew disgusted with the way his father was too weak to do anything but sob. From that day on, Loki swore he would be strong enough to protect himself, and those close to him.
