Battle in the MountainsBased on events from my upcoming book series.
During the 1801 Aegian/Prassian war, lycanthrope tribes were used extensively by the Aegian Empire as auxillia. However, a few tribes, seeking to escape Aegian oppression, assisted the Invading Prassian army in trying to break Aegia’s hold on their lands.
On one such occasion, Aeros (April) 12th 1801, a force of some 2000 Prassian were lead by Lycan scouts through a secluded mountain path (Sharptooth Pass) along the southern side of the Zhang Zhu Mountain range. The goal was to sneak around the Aegian defensive line along the border and striking from the rear. However, a Centuborum of Aegian scouts along with Lycan scouts loyal to the empire ambushed the column on the path.
