While Danny overall is a very good person, he does have his moments of being not that great. He can be aggressive if put in the wrong situation and rebellious against many things. He did everything he should; got good grades and was one to follow the rules. The older he got though, the more he was willing to break the rules. 1992-1998: Danny grew up in a fairly normal house in a small town who’s entire life was football. The town was known for their team who was always bringing home championships. Danny had normal parents if normal is even possible for parents. His father worked out of town a lot and was usually gone while his mother stayed at home most often. She was very kind and cared for him deeply as well as his little sister. For the first few years of his life, everything was as mundane as they could be. He went to school, played with his friends in the neighborhood and waited for his father to come home on weekends. His Sundays consisted of football, dinner and games with his sister.
As he got older, he started to pick up on strange things. His father bringing home weapons he’d never seen. Books he couldn’t read and him and his mother talking about creatures and beings he didn’t know of. Eventually he started to ask questions. His father was against answering them; wanting them to have a normal life and not be in ‘the family business.’ His mother on the other hand told them stories at bedtime of wonderful creatures and some not so wonderful. Danny was fascinated and soon wanted to know more. By the time he was 6, he was asking more questions and wanting to know more to the point where even his father couldn’t deny answering.
1999-2005: As Danny grew older, his curiosity grew as well. He began taking notes of what his mother and father told him and even started doing his own research; sneaking away his fathers notes and books when he could. He learned quickly that his mother and father both were hunters but his father was who was active at the time. His mother had been and still was highly skilled in the craft but had sort of retired to raise him and his sister. For his early tween years, he learned as much as he could and even started to ‘train’ himself in the quiet of the basement when no one was really around. He learned self defense, some spells for protection and expelling dangerous things and soon he was pretty good at reciting them. Once afternoon though his mother catches him with her books and he prepares for the worst; grounded for sure. Instead, she explains things to him and starts to teach him herself. Instead of football Sundays, it’s latin and learning about different supernatural beings around them. They keep their little schooling sessions a secret from his father and little sister for as long as they can. Once he’s reached his thirteenth year, he’s pretty well versed in things. Everything is going well until his father doesn’t come home from a trip. His mother tells him it’s normal for him to sometimes take longer and not to worry. Weeks pass with no news from his mother and he can see it on her face; his father is not coming back. Danny grows upset and tries to look into it himself but without all the knowledge, he cannot get far. Finally he goes to his mother to get the information he desperately needs. What happened to his father.
His mother’s answer was not what he wanted to hear but also what he expected. He was. Not coming back. He’d been taken down during a hunt and would not be returning. It was just them now. Despite the heartbreak Danny felt, he didn’t cry. Instead he grew quiet and drew into himself; focusing on his school work and friends. His books and studies on the supernatural began to gather dust. As he was focusing more on his schoolwork, he finally had his first crush. On his best friend.
2006-2010: Danny’s junior years of school are some of the roughest. He spends most of the time trying to figure out his sexuality and staying away from most everyone. He’s introverted and quiet; picked on by others and sticks to himself. Only one person seems to understand and sticks close; his best friend at the time. They get closer and closer and soon Danny is opening up a little more. He’s finding himself and being more friendly. He starts to work out at home and slowly begins to pick up his books. Soon, the hunting becomes more and more frequent and soon it’s all they’re doing. Danny finally quits his job to go hunting full time and starts to make more money that he sends to his mother to help with bills. He’s still a big sweetheart deep down even if they are out killing and ridding the world of monsters and demons. For 5 years, they grow stronger together and keep working; becoming fairly well-known around the area and surrounding states for what they do. Soon they are being called on to do larger jobs and they start to take them slowly as they get more used to things. Danny’s mother worries for him but he promises that they’re safe.
Things get rough when they get to the bigger cities and have to deal with stronger creatures and monsters. Monty and Danny grow close and are more like brothers now than ever before but it doesn’t stop Danny’s feelings for him to surface. He tries his best to hide them and keep working as usual. Things are going well for them.
2017-Present: Danny and Monty are together; inseparable usually and always on a job. They don’t get breaks and he’s tired. Things are going well for them in their field and Work is getting harder and they’re having to do more sketchy things to get by. Danny grows more and more interested in the idea of helping vs ending and starts to talk Monty into helping some of the creatures and supernaturals they come across vs getting rid of them. While Monty is all guns blazing, Danny tries to think of a peaceful way and it starts to make things between them rough.
