She's a very cute character. She looks uncannily like a character (which is based on my dream girl... Well, essentially, she IS my dream girl.) in a story I'm working on. My avatar is the logo for it, as well as my main character's (based on my personality) pirate emblem/logo.
Funny enough, that outfit is similar to my girl character's airship admiral outfit. Of course, it's not her primary attire, but she looks kickass in it, and can also kick ass in it. Function and form, a deadly combination.
I gotta make some art of her to show off sometime, if my figure drawing skills ever sharpen up. Any tips?

Well gathering some reference would be a good idea and mixing that with your imagination. Tutorials on anatomy are always helpful. For me, I check out on poses, style, and coloring. Oh, and if you ever want to create your own character, draw a few rough sketches to get the design right before making the final one.

Plenty. I'll look into the tutorials. I already have concept and everything; I just need the time and skill to produce something.
I guess having a Wacom tablet could become of some good use to me with the tutorials. Practicing with pics of course to get it done right.
