In my canon thoughts on BEN, BEN is a super geeky gamer- but he's of course still a young boy.
So he can have his perverted side, and his awkward going through puberty side. I also have this thing, like in Pasta Monsters, he is a stoner.
But anyway, and Elna is a happy-go-lucky little girl, who loves to pull pranks and scare the shit outta people, as does BEN.
So with that being said, I can see Elna and BEN totally pranking people, and playing video games like little kids- but when it come down to couple stuff, they're still kids-
Meaning holding hands makes them awkward, and all blushy-
It's just adorable-
Also Elna loves to pester him, and bug him-
Just because of her major crush on him.

I don't know if gifts count as fan art, because they are necessarily drawing something you like/enjoy, not something they particularly like/enjoy. So I am not sure you could consider this fan art more of, as you said, gift art.

Then, why not just drop all these other ships? If they are not canon to you, nor get any fan art.
And, why does she dress like Zelda?
In her story there is no sign of her being associated with the Legend Of Zelda, unless you just put her in that outfit because she is shipped with BEN. Which would make me very disappointed in your choice of character customization.
And, how is she known as 18 years old, if in her story, she was 12? UNLESS You do, as I said and make her 18 mentally in the body of a 12 year old.

If you are 15 in 2015, born in 2000 you were not 11 in 2010- you were 10.
I should know, since I was born in 2000, I AM 15 in 2015. Making me 10 in 2010.
So that makes, if you made Elizabeth when you were 12, means you made her in 2012-
So that makes that if BEN was made in 2010, or 2011, whatever, makes him to be made before her anyway.
And listen, I am sorry you were abused as a child, but that STILL doesn't excuse the fact you could explain your character.
