She is the child of MacDonald Gargan and Sarah Baker, born in New Jersey, but raised in Brooklyn. She left her home, following her father's footsteps and she managed to receive the grueling training of the Nguuhao. She grew up to become a solicited mercenary, famous for having the Scorpion's skills combined with the deadly Poison fist only equaled by F.A.N.G. Unlike the original Scorpion -that was dealing with inferiority complex and narcisistic rage- she, behaves more like F.A.N.G. , always a cold elitist and acting very condescending towards others, but not too much to lower her guard. Like her father, she's an enemy of the Spider-People. Her tail can fire molecular acid and due to her training as a Nguuhao, her skinless forearms can absorb and deliver a variety of poisons both hemotoxin and neurotoxin. Unlike A.K.I however, Amanda complements Shequan with Xiaolin Scorpion Form. A.K.I and Scorpette fought each other and Scorpette won because her training and her father’s mutation made her immune to several poisons.
