Mel is the son of Ken and Eliza Masters. His first appearance of three year old Mel appears in Ken's ending, where he wishes to follow in his father's footsteps and trains with him. In said ending, he was told to hit his father with all that he's got, but due to his size the highest that he could hit him was in the crotch. After his father was framed by JP and Roxxon for a terrorist act he didn’t took part of it, Mel decided to to be like his uncle Guile and decided to join the US Air Force, mainly to clear his father’s name. He trained under his uncle and served as a para-rescue operative in Iran, Afghanistan and the HYDRA incident in Moscow. Then John Walker completed Mel’s training and passed the mantle of US Agent to him.

In the Champions Fanfiction, he will be chasing the rogue Campions half heartedly because he wants the same the Champions want. Uncover the reason of the creation of the Underage Superhuman Welfare Act and stop JP’s plans for financial world domination.
