Description Before the knowledge that our world is made of many chemicals, and before the idea of the four elements of fire, water, earth and air, there was an idea that the world was made of water.

I forget who had that idea, but the one who had that idea said that since water is liquid and can be heated to make a vapor and frozen to become ice and since all things in the world were either solid, liquid or gas, then all things are made of water in some form.

Water has been personified as gods and goddesses around the world.

The human body is around 70% water, and our brains, 85% water. Drinking water helps one stay mentally aware, and helps with weight loss.

And last, but certainly not least, water is one of nature's fire extinguishers. Fire needs a fuel source, heat, and air. When water comes into contact with fire, not only does it take away the heat needed to keep the fire going, water also turns into vapor, which suffocates the fire.
(several sources say this, including this [link] ).

Made in Apophysis 3D, also using Meckie's tutorial [link] , and then playing around with Apophysis 3D from there.

Indeed; in fact, where water is scarce, there can be fights between peoples for access to areas where water is present.
