Description
In what sounded like a good idea on paper, the top executives at UWA had chosen top athlete Su Lin Thorsten Fuerte and rising star Constance Summers to participate in a Phone In Match. The contestants would enter a phone booth and fight for the receiver. A winner would be determined by whoever successfully dialed the main office's number.
What went wrong? Well, landlines were rendered invalid at the time of broadcast, and therefore the phonebooth was disconnected. Also, it's rather difficult to fight in a phonebooth or any enclosed area. Best one could do is perform a chokehold and wait for the referee to let you out.
Needless to say, by the time Su Lin got Connie to let go of the receiver, the match had gone into overtime and the phonebooth had fallen onto its side. The referee had no choice but to call it a no-win. Su Lin was later quoted as saying "They may as well have asked us to wrestle in the front seat of a Camero".
