not at all! i basically just alternated between coloring above and underneath the line-art layer, then meshed it all together.

That's very clever!  I would be afraid it would make the lineart look funny.  But I guess fear is what stiffles that sort of creativity

aw thanks! yeah, it's important to try random things when it comes to coloring; you never know when you'll find a new technique that actually works well
