Hey everyone! This is a Christmas fic for since we're both doing a trade with each other! It features our favorite red characters, Benny and Berserk! They both belong to so we don't own them. I only own the plot of this story! Hope you like this story, Banveet-chan! ^_^

Hibiki's p.o.v.

The sound of bells ringing brightens up the mood for everyone. Many lights were on and shaped well for the holidays and there were people dressed as Santa Claus or an elf giving flyers to people or ringing the bell while holding a bucket for money to be put in. Children laughing and walking with their parents while looking around in awe of the festivities and happy couples admiring the beauty of the decorations.

A small smile appeared on my face as I saw many people happily chatting with each other about Christmas. Yes, Christmas is coming soon and everyone in the city is waiting for it to come. Everyone gets a break from work or school and we all get to celebrate with our families and loved ones. For me and my brothers, it'll be our first Christmas together as a family.

Now that Shirou and I made peace with each other, we became very close with each other and the same goes for Shou. I'm still mad at Jomo for what he did to us in the past but we learned to be a bit neutral with him. I'm just glad Nissaki and Gno are the ones who lead the JJ Boys now. Even our new transformation outfits reflect our real selves.

My J-mite isn't with me today due to how cold it is outside so I let him stay at home where its warm. Right now, I'm doing some last minute Christmas shopping and I'm almost done with finding the items I've been looking for. I already found some great gifts for Shirou, Shou, Nissaki, Gno, Jomo, and the J-mites. I just need to find a couple of really good Christmas movies we can watch together as a family.

I managed to find the video store and went inside. Its a good thing I left the bags back at my room where the presents are already wrapped up and stuff. I just need to get a couple of good movies that all of us would like and then go home and put the presents under our tree before anyone notices.

I walked through the aisles looking around for any movie that seemed interesting. I decided to get the movie Elf since its a really funny movie and an animated movie called The Polar Express. Since these two seem really good, I should definitely buy these. I just hope Shirou won't mind watching these movies but he'll probably not care at all. Just when I was about to go over to the counter, I noticed something from the corner of my eye and turned my head and saw someone whom I never thought would be here.

Moriko Tsumiakadzu? One of the PowerPunk Girls!?

She was scanning through some DVD's with a bored expression on her face but she had a DVD movie case in her hand. Is she here to buy a movie also? But why and since when did she start to like Christmas? Maybe its something else but I hope she's not planning anything evil on this day.

I decided to ignore the thought and went ahead and bought my movies. After they were put in a small sack, I took another glance at Moriko to see her still scanning through the movie aisle and then left the store. I let out a small breath as I saw cold air being formed from my breath. Its definitely cold today. Its a good thing I wore my scarf today so my neck wouldn't get cold.

I started walking down the sidewalk and noticed that there were only a few people around outside. I looked over at the sky and saw that it was getting darker and darker. Looks like everyone went home and didn't want to be outside in the cold that long. I should do the same and get home faster. It would be nice drinking some warm hot chocolate right by the fireplace with my family.

Should I run back home? Nah, I'll probably slip from the ice and fall. I can't let the movies be ruined by the snow. Should I fly there? It would probably be a bad idea since its snowing and a bit windy. The snow would ruin my vision and I can't transform unless its an emergency like a monster attacking the city or someone in danger.

I soon snapped out of my thoughts when I saw that the area I was in had changed. I looked around and noticed that I was now at the park. Whoa. I guess I've been lost in my own thoughts that I accidentally walked over here instead of towards home. I'm surprised that I didn't ran into anything nor slipped from the sleet and ice.

I then walked on the path that would lead me back home. From now on, do not daydream and focus on your surroundings. I can't end up at another area again like the park. I don't want to waste too much time.

I looked around and noticed that I was near a suburban neighborhood not far from the park. Hold on, this area seemed familiar. I continued walking and then stopped at a house. Why does it feel like I've been here before?

"Are you done staring at my house!?"

I turned my head and my eyes nearly widened when I saw Moriko standing in front of me. She was holding a bag that contained a couple of DVD movies like mine but different movies and she was wearing her winter outfit in dark pink. Hold on, her house? Oh yeah! I actually went to her house before!

"Sorry about that. I guess I almost forgot about this area," I sheepishly replied.

"You forgot? Seems like the world is ending. Hibiki Akagi forgot something!" she exclaimed in fake shock.

I frowned. "Ha ha, very funny! But it always happens to everyone when they're so busy all the time!"

"Whatever. Anyways, what are you doing here?"

"Heading back home. I accidentally took the wrong way and ended up at the park. So now, I'm going back home while making sure I stay on the correct path."

"Let me guess, you ended up here just to see Hideaki?"

"Well, I was gonna see how he's doing and then go back home. Is it alright if I see him?"

"As long as you don't take him away from me, then fine."

"I would never do that, Moriko. I know that you love Hideaki a lot."

"I'm taking precaution. And also, watch out for Hajime."

"Hajime?"

"He's also one of my dogs. He's a black Shiba Inu and he's Hideaki's uncle who acts like a father figure towards him."

"Really? Thats really sweet," I smiled at the thought of Hideaki having a friend to play with. "I'll watch out for Hajime. I'll try not to anger him or anything."

"Good luck with that," she said and opened the gates.

I followed her over to her front door and she opened it and went inside and I did the same. I wiped my feet on the doormat and removed my shoes and put on a pair of house-slippers. The warm air felt nice against my face and the room smelled sweet like sugar cookies. They must've baked some goods for Christmas.

"Arf! Arf!"

I looked over and nearly yelped as Hideaki jumped into my arms and licked my cheeks. I laughed while holding him and felt his fur nearly tickling me. He's definitely an adorable little fluff-ball.

"Arf!" he finished licking me and snuggled against me.

"Hi Hideaki. Its nice to see you again," I chuckled a bit and stroked his back.

"Arf! Arf!" he happily panted his tongue at me while wagging his tail. I can see why Moriko loves him so much.

"Go ahead and sit on the couch," I heard Moriko say. "I'll come back with some hot apple cider."

"Alright, thank you," I said and sat on the couch and placed Hideaki on a pillow.

She went inside the kitchen and I soon relaxed a bit on the couch while placing the bag filled with the movies I bought next to me. Its been a while since I've been to her house but I'm glad I managed to come here. Its warm and toasty in here and it smells nice.

"Bark! Bark!"

I looked over and saw a black dog whom I assumed is Hajime walking towards us. He had a black collar on around his neck and a circular dog tag that had his name on it. Hideaki barked at him and licked him a bit and Hajime then licked his head. Those two are definitely close with each other.

Hajime then went over to me and sniffed at me. I placed my hand out for him and he sniffed at it for a bit and then licked my hand. I chuckled a bit and placed my hand on his head and he then wagged his tail at me as I petted him. He's definitely a friendly dog.

"The apple cider is here!"

A cup filled with cider was placed on the table in front of me and I saw steam coming out of the drink. Must be the hot apple cider she was getting for me. It looks and smells nice. I carefully picked up the cup and blew on it a few times and then took a small sip. Whoa, this is really good. This is the first time I ever tried apple cider. I should make some at home soon if its cold outside all the time.

"My mom and I made it together. Its a recipe we got from my grandparents," Moriko said and took a small sip of her cider. "Looks like Hajime here likes you."

"I let him sniff me and when I petted his head, he wagged his tail at me. I assumed that he's a really friendly dog who loves his family a lot," I answered.

"Bark!" I heard Hajime say and poked my leg with his nose.

"He is. He mostly likes friendly people who are nice to him and his loved ones. However, he's very protective of Hideaki since he sees him as his own little puppy so remember to always treat Hideaki well."

"Thats a promise I will never break!"

"Arf!" Hideaki said and snuggled against my side.

"Good!"

I took another small sip of the apple cider and noticed that the living room was decorated with Christmas stuff. A huge Christmas tree was in the corner of the room with presents under the tree and stockings were held on the knobs of the cabinet. Looks like she even spends Christmas with her family.

"Is your family home?" I asked her.

"My mom and little sister are at my aunt's house still. They'll be back home soon," she said.

"What about your dad?"

"My parents are divorced."

"I'm really sorry to hear that."

"Its fine. I just don't want to talk about it."

"I understand."

I blew on the cider more and took another sip. This stuff is really good. I gotta remember to ask her for the ingredients I should get to make this. I could ask Shou to help me out since he's the cook in the family. Even Shirou could assist us so all of us could have fun making it.

I then felt my pocket vibrating and I realized that my phone is ringing. I put the cup back on the table and took my phone out and answered it while getting up and walking to another room. I don't want to disturb her or the dogs if I'm on the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hibiki! Thank goodness you're alright!"

"Shou? Is that you?"

"Its me! Where are you!?"

"I'm at Moriko's house."

"Moriko's house?"

"You're at her house!?"

"Shirou?"

"I put the phone on speaker!" I heard Shou say.

"Dude! What are you doing at a Punk's house!?"

"She didn't hurt you, did she!?"

"Guys, I'm fine. She invited me in since it was freezing cold outside and I wanted to see how Hideaki was doing."

"Her little puppy? How's he doing?"

"Will you forget about that puppy!? When are you coming home, Hibiki!? You were supposed to get those movies for us!"

"I already got the Christmas movies, Shirou. So please calm down. I'll be home shortly."

"Please don't take too long, Hibiki."

"And if you took too long because you were kissing Moriko under a mistletoe, I won't hesitate to laugh at you!"

"S-Shirou!" I felt my face heating up a bit.

"You stuttered! You actually do wanted to kiss her under the mistletoe!"

"Shirou-san, please calm down and stop teasing Hibiki."

"No way! This is hilarious!"

"You'll do the same with Minako if you go to her house to see her little bunny Sora! I know you're close with him!"

"S-Shut up!"

"That would be so cute! Hibiki, please come home soon. I'm gonna start preparing a Christmas dinner for the whole family!"

"Great! I'll be there soon!"

"Wonderful!"

"Make it quick or I'm taking your share!"

"I understand, Shirou," I nearly sweat-dropped at his antics. "Anyways, goodbye."

I ended the call and placed my phone back in my pocket while walking back towards the living room. I noticed that Moriko was in the kitchen so I picked up my cup and continued sipping the cider while looking around at her house. Like before, her house is pretty nice and has some cool Christmas decorations.

Hideaki and Hajime followed me around wherever I go. Well, Hajime was following me while Hideaki rested on his head. I chuckled at the cute display and had to stop myself from getting my phone and taking a picture of it. I then spotted a bookshelf filled with many types of books and I read each title labelled on the book spines.

Most of them were written by Edgar Allen Poe but there were a few books written by Stephen King and R.L. Stine. There were also a couple of children's books that were mostly called Biscuit. Must be for her little sister or for Hideaki since he's also a cute little puppy. I did managed to find a dictionary and world atlas in the bookcase. Her family must like reading then.

I drank some of the cider and walked over to the Christmas tree. There were many colorful ornaments decorated on the tree and a star was perched right on top of it. An angel ornament caught my eye and I lightly touched it. This is a very nice tree.

"So what do you think of this place?"

I turned my head to look at her. "Its really nice and homey here. It has a calm atmosphere and its filled with a loving family."

"Um, thanks?"

"Bark!"

"Arf!"

I finished my drink and placed the empty cup on the table. I continued gazing at the tree in awe but then noticed something near the tree. I felt my face nearly blushing to see what it is.

"W-Whats that?" I pointed to whats on the ceiling.

"Huh?" She looked up and started to blush a bit. "H-How did that get there!? I don't remember having a mistletoe at all!"

"I-I'm guessing your mom or sister must've gotten it."

"Probably something my little sister would plan," I heard her grumble.

"S-Should we just ignore it or follow its tradition?"

"I-I don't know! I'm not an expert at it!"

"M-Maybe your doggies could help us!"

Moriko's p.o.v.

I turned my head to call my doggies but they weren't in sight. Okay, where did they go!? Don't they want to help us in this situation!? I cannot kiss my enemy at all! Not if he's the last man standing on Earth.

I suddenly felt something shove against my leg and I looked over to see Hajime pushing me. Okay, what is he doing? I hope he's not planning something or no doggy treats for him! He then gave me a large shove and I accidentally stumbled into Hibiki's arms. You were planning this, weren't you, Hajime!?

"Y-You okay?" I heard Hibiki say to me.

"Y-Yeah," I said while trying not to blush.

When I raised my head up, I felt my face heating up as I gazed at his light red eyes. I can't believe I'm saying this but they're so beautiful. They remind me of fire blazing with intensity and passion. Its almost like the flames of a phoenix. They're strong and powerful with their fire. Even his new transformation shows his scarf being lighted with flames at the end.

But not only that, his eyes are like red gems. They sparkle from the light and it makes his eyes look really pretty. I can see why he has so many admirers, especially female admirers. I don't know how or why but suddenly, I slowly leaned in and he did the same. All I saw was his face and nothing else. Its like the only thing standing here is him.

Then, our lips touched each other and I slowly closed my eyes as I embraced his warm lips pressing against mine. Okay, how come I'm not pushing him off of me and yelling at him for what he did. Simple, I was too lost in my thoughts to even do that. Plus, they feel so nice and I don't want this moment to stop.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I don't know how long the kiss lasted but it felt like forever until we both parted to breathe. We both panted and wouldn't stop blushing with each other. I can't believe I kissed him but not only that, I actually liked that kiss and wanted to kiss him again!

"T-That felt nice," he said.

"I-It sure did," I stuttered a bit.

"I-I'm pretty sure Hajime and Hideaki planned this."

"L-Looks like they'll be getting extra doggy treats."

"Arf!"

"Bark!"

"Um, what time is it?"

"Almost 9:00. Why?"

"Almost 9!? I should get home right now! I promised my brothers I would be home before they eat dinner!"

"Wait! Before you leave, let me get you something!"

I quickly ran into my kitchen and poured some hot apple cider in a thermos. After its been filled up, I screwed the lid tightly on it so it wouldn't spill and quickly ran back to the living room where he was putting on his shoes with his bag filled with movies in his arm and I then gave him the thermos.

"Here!" I handed it to him.

"Whats this?" he asked.

"I filled some hot apple cider inside that thermos. I thought that you would want to drink more of it at home. You can share some with your family if you'd like."

"Really? Thats very sweet of you! Thank you!"

"O-Only because its Christmas and we both should get along on this day."

"Arf!"

"Bark!"

"I agree."

He then stood up and gave me a hug. I then hugged him back and felt my face heating up as I feel his body heat touching mine. He's really warm. I wonder if the cold actually bothers him or not? Probably not since his element is fire. We then broke the hug and I gave him a quick peck on the lips. Hey, I wanted to kiss him again before the year is over!

He blushed a bit but then smiled at me and kissed my forehead. He then hugged my doggies and kissed Hideaki's head and patted Hajime's head and soon left the house. I touched my forehead where he kissed it and felt a small smile appear on my face. I feel so warm inside when he kissed me there. Even though he can bossy and stuff, he does have a big heart for everyone. I guess I gotta learn not to judge males that much. But Hibiki is now okay in my book.

I heard my dogs barking at me and I then went over to the TV and brought out the DVDs from the video store. The Nightmare Before Christmas is a movie my sister definitely loved and another movie we all liked is Home Alone. Its a really funny movie and I do like how the character Kevin is mischievous with his pranks.

I never thought that I would see Hibiki again during winter break but on Christmas Eve. I have to say, he does look good in red and his kisses are so addicting and passionate. They would leave me breathless and his warmth keeps me warm all the time. I don't know why but I suddenly want to pounce on him and continue kissing him. Okay, I think my hormones are acting up and they're making me feel crazy. I gotta control myself and remind myself that you mustn't focus on boys at all! Right now, just focus on spending Christmas with the family.

"And if you took too long because you were kissing Moriko under a mistletoe, I won't hesitate to laugh at you!"

"S-Shirou!" I felt my face heating up a bit.

"You stuttered! You actually do wanted to kiss her under the mistletoe!"

"Shirou-san, please calm down and stop teasing Hibiki."

"No way! This is hilarious!"

"You'll do the same with Minako if you go to her house to see her little bunny Sora! I know you're close with him!"

"S-Shut up!"

"That would be so cute! Hibiki, please come home soon. I'm gonna start preparing a Christmas dinner for the whole family!"

"Great! I'll be there soon!"

"Wonderful!"

"Make it quick or I'm taking your share!"

"I understand, Shirou," I nearly sweat-dropped at his antics. "Anyways, goodbye."

I ended the call and placed my phone back in my pocket while walking back towards the living room. I noticed that Moriko was in the kitchen so I picked up my cup and continued sipping the cider while looking around at her house. Like before, her house is pretty nice and has some cool Christmas decorations.

Hideaki and Hajime followed me around wherever I go. Well, Hajime was following me while Hideaki rested on his head. I chuckled at the cute display and had to stop myself from getting my phone and taking a picture of it. I then spotted a bookshelf filled with many types of books and I read each title labelled on the book spines.

Most of them were written by Edgar Allen Poe but there were a few books written by Stephen King and R.L. Stine. There were also a couple of children's books that were mostly called Biscuit. Must be for her little sister or for Hideaki since he's also a cute little puppy. I did managed to find a dictionary and world atlas in the bookcase. Her family must like reading then.

I drank some of the cider and walked over to the Christmas tree. There were many colorful ornaments decorated on the tree and a star was perched right on top of it. An angel ornament caught my eye and I lightly touched it. This is a very nice tree.

"So what do you think of this place?"

I turned my head to look at her. "Its really nice and homey here. It has a calm atmosphere and its filled with a loving family."

"Um, thanks?"

"Bark!"

"Arf!"

I finished my drink and placed the empty cup on the table. I continued gazing at the tree in awe but then noticed something near the tree. I felt my face nearly blushing to see what it is.

"W-Whats that?" I pointed to whats on the ceiling.

"Huh?" She looked up and started to blush a bit. "H-How did that get there!? I don't remember having a mistletoe at all!"

"I-I'm guessing your mom or sister must've gotten it."

"Probably something my little sister would plan," I heard her grumble.

"S-Should we just ignore it or follow its tradition?"

"I-I don't know! I'm not an expert at it!"

"M-Maybe your doggies could help us!"

Moriko's p.o.v.

I turned my head to call my doggies but they weren't in sight. Okay, where did they go!? Don't they want to help us in this situation!? I cannot kiss my enemy at all! Not if he's the last man standing on Earth.

I suddenly felt something shove against my leg and I looked over to see Hajime pushing me. Okay, what is he doing? I hope he's not planning something or no doggy treats for him! He then gave me a large shove and I accidentally stumbled into Hibiki's arms. You were planning this, weren't you, Hajime!?

"Y-You okay?" I heard Hibiki say to me.

"Y-Yeah," I said while trying not to blush.

When I raised my head up, I felt my face heating up as I gazed at his light red eyes. I can't believe I'm saying this but they're so beautiful. They remind me of fire blazing with intensity and passion. Its almost like the flames of a phoenix. They're strong and powerful with their fire. Even his new transformation shows his scarf being lighted with flames at the end.

But not only that, his eyes are like red gems. They sparkle from the light and it makes his eyes look really pretty. I can see why he has so many admirers, especially female admirers. I don't know how or why but suddenly, I slowly leaned in and he did the same. All I saw was his face and nothing else. Its like the only thing standing here is him.

Then, our lips touched each other and I slowly closed my eyes as I embraced his warm lips pressing against mine. Okay, how come I'm not pushing him off of me and yelling at him for what he did. Simple, I was too lost in my thoughts to even do that. Plus, they feel so nice and I don't want this moment to stop.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I don't know how long the kiss lasted but it felt like forever until we both parted to breathe. We both panted and wouldn't stop blushing with each other. I can't believe I kissed him but not only that, I actually liked that kiss and wanted to kiss him again!

"T-That felt nice," he said.

"I-It sure did," I stuttered a bit.

"I-I'm pretty sure Hajime and Hideaki planned this."

"L-Looks like they'll be getting extra doggy treats."

"Arf!"

"Bark!"

"Um, what time is it?"

"Almost 9:00. Why?"

"Almost 9!? I should get home right now! I promised my brothers I would be home before they eat dinner!"

"Wait! Before you leave, let me get you something!"

I quickly ran into my kitchen and poured some hot apple cider in a thermos. After its been filled up, I screwed the lid tightly on it so it wouldn't spill and quickly ran back to the living room where he was putting on his shoes with his bag filled with movies in his arm and I then gave him the thermos.

"Here!" I handed it to him.

"Whats this?" he asked.

"I filled some hot apple cider inside that thermos. I thought that you would want to drink more of it at home. You can share some with your family if you'd like."

"Really? Thats very sweet of you! Thank you!"

"O-Only because its Christmas and we both should get along on this day."

"Arf!"

"Bark!"

"I agree."

He then stood up and gave me a hug. I then hugged him back and felt my face heating up as I feel his body heat touching mine. He's really warm. I wonder if the cold actually bothers him or not? Probably not since his element is fire. We then broke the hug and I gave him a quick peck on the lips. Hey, I wanted to kiss him again before the year is over!

He blushed a bit but then smiled at me and kissed my forehead. He then hugged my doggies and kissed Hideaki's head and patted Hajime's head and soon left the house. I touched my forehead where he kissed it and felt a small smile appear on my face. I feel so warm inside when he kissed me there. Even though he can bossy and stuff, he does have a big heart for everyone. I guess I gotta learn not to judge males that much. But Hibiki is now okay in my book.

I heard my dogs barking at me and I then went over to the TV and brought out the DVDs from the video store. The Nightmare Before Christmas is a movie my sister definitely loved and another movie we all liked is Home Alone. Its a really funny movie and I do like how the character Kevin is mischievous with his pranks.

I never thought that I would see Hibiki again during winter break but on Christmas Eve. I have to say, he does look good in red and his kisses are so addicting and passionate. They would leave me breathless and his warmth keeps me warm all the time. I don't know why but I suddenly want to pounce on him and continue kissing him. Okay, I think my hormones are acting up and they're making me feel crazy. I gotta control myself and remind myself that you mustn't focus on boys at all! Right now, just focus on spending Christmas with the family.
