Hey everyone! This is a point commission story for JLrrblover of her O.C.'s who are male. She owns Blood and one of her friends owns Caleb. I only own the plot of the story so please enjoy it!

Blood's p.o.v.

It was very cold outside and I couldn't lay down on the hammock and read my book in peace. Not only that, Caleb came over since he was bored and got nothing to do so I let him hang out with me since he's quiet like I am. Right now, we were sitting down on one of the couches and the fireplace was roaring with fire to keep the house warm.

Caleb was watching a show on TV called Paranormal Witness and I was reading Unwind. Yeah, the book is pretty interesting since its about these 3 teens trying to escape from having their body parts harvested and used for saving lives of people if their parent or guardian wants them to be unwinded because of some bill that was passed

I could hear the people on the show talking about their events and I don't mind at all since I like scary stuff and plus, its not a bad show at all. Because Caleb is mute, he doesn't talk at all but his little tentacle friend does help him talk though but only on rare times.

I managed to finish my book and put it away so I can read the next one later. I bought the series since the summary was very interesting and it can help me relax and put my mind at ease. I decided to watch some television with Caleb since the show is pretty interesting.

As I started watching it, my mind wandered off to the time when Caleb and I first became friends. We were introduced by a couple of friends of ours and we instantly started to like each other since we're both quiet and don't like to talk that much. Plus, he's not afraid to show his emotions to me and doesn't mind at all if I'm mostly cold. However, I was a bit surprised when I learned that he's into cosplaying. He must have a lot of favorite characters.

During the time we became friends, we would always hang out at the library since we both like to read and other places that are quiet and doesn't make any loud noises at all since we both don't like it. Even sometimes, I'll only cosplay for him if he makes me an orange cake. Yeah, I like oranges since they're yummy.

Sometimes, I would feel weird whenever I'm near Caleb. I don't know how to describe it but I mostly feel happy when I'm with him. Before you say anything, I'm not in love with him or anything. I just felt like I have to protect him just like how I protect my brothers from any danger.

You could say that Caleb is a precious person of mine and we're only friends since we're both not interested in having a life partner in the future. For now, we just wanna do what we'd like to do in our normal lives. However, we're not considered normal at all but it doesn't matter because we do what we wanna do.

I broke out of my thoughts when I saw Caleb moving from the couch across from me and sitting on the couch that I was at and sitting down next to me. Looks like he turned off the TV and probably got bored watching it now.

Without thinking, I brought my hand out and patted his head. He turned around and nearly gasped as I did that and I just gave him a small smile. Yeah, I'll only smile around him since I can trust him a lot. He really liked it when I pat his head and it made him smile a lot so he would occasionally squeal a bit and hug me.

"Thank you," his tentacle helped him speak.

"No problem," I answered and continued to pat his head.
