Hey everyone! Sorry if this took a long time but I managed to finish my summer class and now I have time to do this story! This is a song fic for Icebat so I hope you enjoy it! Also, the couple is Pina (Gate JSDF) X Makoto (Ghost Hound). I hope you all like it!

Pina let out a small sigh as she looked out the window from her room while gazing at the stars. Her manga that was given to her by Itami was left on the bed still closed and not touched. She doesn't know why but it felt like something was missing in her life. Besides the otaku lifestyle she likes to go through, something in her heart was telling her that she is missing something.

As his back rested against the huge oak tree while sitting down, Makoto gazed at the night sky and saw the stars twinkling with the moon nearby. While they were his only company, there's still a bit of emptiness within him. He doesn't know what it is but he would always try to ignore it. However, it still keeps coming back to him and he doesn't know what that feeling in his chest is.

While reading the manga, her mind would still wander off and she couldn't concentrate on the plot. She flopped down on the bed and started staring at the ceiling with her hand resting on her forehead. Something is trying to tell Pina but she still can't figure out what it is. Is she getting sick or is it something else?

With his headphones on and playing the guitar, Makoto thinks that his music would help clear his mind but somehow, its not working well. His mind is wandering off somewhere but he can't figure out why. Its almost like a spirit is trying to tell him something but he can sense that it can't be possible. What is it thats making him feel weird and why is it happening to him?

Putting on a warm coat, she figured that getting some fresh air would help clear her head. She quietly left her room and out of the castle where her garden is. As she walked there, she arrived at her favorite bench and took a seat. She could feel the wind blowing gently against her long red hair and the leaves rustling from the trees. Her eyes gazed at the full moon thats brightening up the sky.

He removed his headphones and guitar and decided to get something to drink. Going into the kitchen and giving himself a glass of water, he took a sip and gazed out at the kitchen window. He placed his cup in the sink and walked closer to where he could get a good view of the full moon. Its almost like someone is pulling him over to be close to the moon and to never stop watching it.
