Elijah was raised in Unova's ever popular Nimbasa city. His mother is a professional musician in the city’s Musical Hall, while his father was a technician and IT Engineer that helped keep the City and its Gym up and running with its ever advancing technology. The city is constantly bustling and there’s always tourists of some kind, so while his parents were off at work Elijah would spend his time off from school at the fairgrounds or watching battles take place in the Gym or Battle Tower, making him take interest in being a pokemon trainer strong enough to take down anyone! He’s been able to meet the Gym Leader, Elesa, where she would give him some advice in learning what a pokemon partner truly means, and give him that true spark for pokemon battle and training!

    In his teens, he and a group of school friends would leave town and try their hardest to catch pokemon - though he knew very well he would need his trainer’s license first before he could even begin to think of becoming a trainer, he still participated with them in hopes to get a jump start in his trainer career. As the group would search, they always ended up getting attacked and injured by the wild pokemon, Elijah more often being the one to get hurt the worst due to his impulsive nature.

One night, his family’s pokemon, meowth, had run outside of the house when they all had returned home from a quick trip. Elijah of course soon left to try and find their pokemon, searching throughout the city as much as they could, as the began to head towards the outskirts of the city, he saw a strange trainer wearing clothing of the long gone Team Plasma holding the Meowth by the scruff of his neck as they tried to remove the tags from its neck, he remembered the organization was described as being odd, but wanting to help and assist pokemon, so he approached calmly “Oh hey! You found my meowth!” he spoke, only to stop short when the trainer glared at them with intimidating eyes “Your meowth is now property of Team Plasma! Return to your home!” they shouted, Elijah stood and stared in bewilderment at the person before them, and felt his anger rise, making him lurch forward in an attempt to snatch the pokemon back, The trainer backed away quickly, and after a quick red flash their pokemon emerged from the pokeball and slashed at Elijah, causing him to stop his attempts and cover his face with his hands, screaming out in pain. Elijah can only guess at that time that the trainer had run off, taking the meowth with him. Elijas screams of pain were heard by a passerby, who quickly helped him get to the Pokecenter where he was then promptly hospitalized.

Elijah woke up, bandages covering a good amount of his face. When he was fully awake he was told what had happened, that they had to do surgery on his face so the scarring would heal properly, and still allow him to see out of his eye. After he told the police and his parents what had happened, he was able to be released from the hospital. When he arrived home he took off the bandages, and saw the scars, at first he was shaken up needing the time to adjust - but his friends were there to give him a confidence boost, talking about how cool it was and that it made him “look like a badass”, and overtime he was able to accept his new addition… which with the amount of pokemon attacks he got himself into, he had many more scars to add on to his “collection”.

Now at 21, and equipped with a trainer’s license, Elijah has moved, ready to start his new journey as a pokemon trainer.
